Take Care of Your Teeth

and They will Take Care of You!

As you probably know, unlike bones or other parts of the body, teeth are incapable of healing themselves. That is why it’s so important to take really good care of them and to start doing so at a young age so that it becomes a habit all through your kiddo’s life. The best habits to develop, along with limiting sugary and sticky foods, are brushing and flossing and getting cleanings and check-ups every six months. Catching a cavity early is an easy fix versus waiting until the tooth is damaged beyond repair. Aside from the pain of a toothache, once a tooth is lost, it’s lost forever. (The only exception, of course, is the baby teeth)

Be sure to have your child brush twice a day for two minutes each time and floss at night. Then come see us every six months and your little one will have a healthy smile for life!
