LABOR DAY IS ON IT’S WAY

Picnics, Barbecues & Camping, oh my!

The Labor Day Weekend is upon us.

Labor Day is right around the corner. Sharing food and late-summer fun with family and friends is always a fun way to see out the summer season. However, some of the most popular items consumed during the labor day holiday are actually the worst for your teeth. We’re talking CORN ON THE COB, SODA & RIBS!

While your taste buds might be shouting for joy, your teeth are a little less excited. Unfortunately, corn and rib meat easily gets stuck in between your teeth and all that sticky sweet barbecue sauce stays on your teeth causing tooth decay. Soda gets continuously sipped, providing a steady supply of pure sugar to the plaque on your vulnerable teeth.

We aren’t suggesting that you stay away from these foods, just be sure to break out the toothbrush and floss shortly after you eat. It’s the mouth-healthy way to go!

We here, at Dr. Dunne’s office, are commited to helping you maintain great oral hygiene for life!
